Jessica Steinbach

MPH, RDN, CSSD

Jessica is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who believes body autonomy is the foundation of nutritional counseling. She centers the client’s lived experience to support them in reaching their food, body, and movement related goals.

Jessica has served individuals and families in the eating disorder community all levels of care. Her wide range of experience includes inpatient and outpatient facilities. Through her experience helping competitive and collegiate athletes meet their individualized performance needs, she has found a passion for sports nutrition. Jessica is trained in trans+ inclusive care and specializes in vegan and vegetarian nutrition. She has been an ethical vegan for 7+ years and utilizes her personal experience and professional training to support her vegan and vegetarian clients in both sport and eating disorder recovery.

Jessica received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Redlands and a Coordinated Masters in Public Health with an emphasis in dietetics from Loma Linda University. She completed her internships at the Loma Linda Veteran’s Hospital andHelping Hands food pantry in San Bernardino, where she developed the culinary education program.

Jessica appreciates her mixed-race identity through food and enjoys helping her clients explore how their cultural customs can help them develop a better relationship with food and their bodies.

When she is not working, Jessica likes to spend time with her partner, Jess (yes, they have the same name), and their dog Sven. As a former collegiate athlete, she loves finding ways to bring joy into movement and is often found running, cycling, or going for walks. Another hobby of Jessica’s is painting; she believes that art and self-expression can be helpful tools for eating disorder recovery.
